Christmas is in the air! I had come to think of what was the essence of having the Christmas spirit this season; we always give gifts and share meals (noche buena) with families and friends, however what about the homeless and the ill, the broke and the lonely?
I had been fortunate enough to have celebrated Christmas with my beloved families and friends. When I grew older and look at life of the unfortunate ones who came to see the beauty of earth but are not privileged enough I wondered and asks day by day, "why do they have to experience it?"; "why of all people they have to be in pain?" and "how can I help?".
I, then realized that no matter what your station in life is, if you find it in your heart on how to value the simplest ways of contentment there is always the gift of HAPPINESS. The Love that comes from the heart of a stranger if you are honest.
